Our Story
For over 35 years, the residents of Advance, NC and surrounding communities have trusted us, Steelman’s Ace Hardware, to provide them with all their needs. From STIHL equipment and service to Benjamin Moore Paints to Weber grills, we have it all!
Ace Hardware began as a small chain of stores in Chicago in 1924. Today, it has grown to include more than 5,000 stores in 50 states and more than 70 countries. As a cooperative, every Ace Hardware store is independently owned. Each store is owned by someone right in your neighborhood. Therefore, each store is unique and meets the needs of its local community.
